I've been praying for Staci and her kidney stone and hadn't heard any updates, so decided it was time to get blogging. Our family has been through a trying time with my Dad going through open heart surgery April 20 to replace his aoritc valve and he had one bypass. A 5-hour surgery saved his life and we thank the Lord for Dad's recovery.

I'm going to attempt to put a few pictures of my kids on here too. Prom was April 18 with both Sam and Summer going for the first time. Sam is a junior and Summer is a freshman. Sam escorted Leah Roth, also a junior, and Summer was invited by Malte, the German exchange student in his junior year. I can't believe how old they look and I'm happy the after prom party is over. That nearly killed me.

OH MY GOODNESS!!! They are growing up so fast! I can't believe that they're old enough for the PROM!! They both look so gorgeous. Thanks for posting...and thanks for praying for me! I'm still passing pieces, but they're small and I can handle this pain :)
